British American Tobacco Kenya (BAT-Kenya) has been crowned this year’s overall winner of the annual energy management awards by the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM).
The event recognized companies that have onboarded best practices to conserve energy in their activities.
Other winners include Absa bank in the banking and finance sector, Kenya Breweries Limited-Nairobi in the water management category as footwear manufacturer Umoja Rubber took the award in the renewable energy category.
This year’s edition themed celebrating resilience in energy management was held both physically and virtually due to COVID-19.
