The NCBA Group has introduced its cutting-edge banking omnichannel application, NCBA Now, in Tanzania.
The primary goal is to enhance digital banking accessibility and provide an improved overall experience for customers.
The NCBA Now platform offers a range of features, including real-time account monitoring, card management, customizable alerts, fund transfers, bill payments, and instant mobile wallet transactions. This seamless banking experience is available on both mobile devices and the web.
During the unveiling of the revamped NCBA Now platform, John Gachora, the NCBA Group Managing Director, said the App will promote financial inclusion across East African markets by offering innovative solutions that address customer needs and challenges.

The bank plans to roll out the updated NCBA Now app in other regional markets, including Uganda, Rwanda, and Ivory Coast, further strengthening digital banking penetration across East Africa.
NCBA Tanzania shared impressive 2023 full-year financial results – a remarkable 157% growth rate in profit after tax (amounting to TZS 20,164 billion), a 91.5% increase in customer deposits (reaching TZS 262,582 million), and a 14.5% growth in total assets (reaching TZS 515,503 million). Notably, the Retail Digital Business in NCBA Bank significantly influenced the bank’s overall performance.
The bank’s M-Pawa digital lending initiative disbursed TZS 100 billion worth of loans, contributing to the Group’s growth and commitment to meeting the dynamic financial needs of the digital era.
