Jambojet has partnered with Cellulant to reward 1,100 customers with discount vouchers worth Ksh.1000 each as they book flights ahead of the festive season.
Cellulant is a Pan-African payments company that provides a single digital payments platform dubbed Tingg.
The bilateral partnership which is part of the Now Travel Ready campaign that aims to encourage air travel, will run for a month from November 16, to December 13, 2021, giving out 50 vouchers every weekday.
Speaking on the partnership, Jambojet CEO & Managing Director Karanja Ndegwa, said the reward was an appreciation to their customers who contributed hugely to their achievements amidsT the COVID-19 pandemic that hit the air travel sector.
“The customer is at the heart of our operations. We would not have achieved the milestones we have attained this year without our customers’ support. For this, we have partnered with Cellulant, Jambojet’s mobile payments aggregator, to appreciate them with discount vouchers” he said
On her part, Faith Nkatha, the Cellulant Country Manager lauded the partnership adding that digital payments are critical in promoting growth through the provision of multiple avenues of payments.

We believe in making it easy for people to do business across Africa and our partnership with Jambojet reinforces our commitment to do so through digitized payments.” She said
Passengers will be expected to apply for the voucher number on the payment page on the Jambojet website where the Ksh.1000 will be deducted from the amount due before proceeding to pay for the balance using mobile money or the bank apps available on Tingg including Absa, CBA, DTB, KCB, Stanbic, BoA, Family Bank and ABC bank.
The voucher numbers will be published on Jambojet’s Facebook and Twitter pages every weekday at 7am and will apply on a first come first serve basis.
