Jubilee ni sisi! Sabina Chege speaks on joining UDA

Reports have made rounds on social networks claiming that the vocal Muranga Woman representative Sabina Chege has ditched Jubilee Party.

This was on the back of her absenteeism from the Azimio La Umoja political rallies.

Over the weekend, Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa posted the politician’s picture on his timeline.

This, sent Kenyans on Twitter into a frenzy wondering whether the firebrand Muranga politician had decamped to Deputy President William Ruto’s UDA party.

On March 21, 2022, however, Chege turned up at Jubilee Party Headquarters where she was welcomed by Kieni Member of Parliament Kanini Kega.

Sabina reaffirmed her support for the Jubilee party stating that it would always be her party of choice.

“Jubilee is my party and will always be. Asanteni sana,” the Murang’a women rep said.

Chege has recently stayed off political pulpits after she was summoned by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) over her election rigging remarks while campaigning for Azimio faction.
