The Express Kenya stocks rallied Friday to emerge top gainer at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) when it closed at ten percent to trade at Ksh.4.40 per share.
It was followed by BOC Kenya, which rose by 8.76 percent, traded at Ksh.74.50. Eaagads limited gained 7.39 percent while Sasini was up 3.33 percent.
Equity Group Holdings ended the day with 2.31 percent higher to close at Ksh.51,per share.
Losers
BK Group stocks shed 8.73 percent and was followed by Nairobi Business Ventures which dropped 8.09 percent to close at Ksh.6.82. per share.
Sameer Afrika shed 6.84 percent to close at Ksh.54.
Liberty Kenya Koldings was 4.98 percent down, while Umeme shed 3.48 percent to close at Ksh.66.
Movers
Safaricom was the day’s biggest mover, trading over 4.1 million shares worth more than Ksh.178 million.
Equity Group Holdings moved more than 2.5 million shares, followed by Kenya Re at slightly over a million shares and KCB Group, more than 800,000 shares.
Kenya power closed the day moving over 600,000 shares.
