TransCentury PLC has announced a delay in publishing its audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2024, citing delays in the audit of one of its key subsidiaries.
In a statement, the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) listed firm notified shareholders and the public that the delayed audit of a subsidiary which contributes significantly to the group’s consolidated financials has hindered timely completion of its overall audit process.
“TransCentury PLC wishes to inform its shareholders and the public that there will be a delay in the publishing of the audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2024,” the statement read.

“The Board and Management regrets the delayed financial reporting timelines but wishes to assure the public that the audited financial statements shall be published not later than 31st May 2025.”
The delay comes at a time when financial transparency and compliance are under increased scrutiny in Kenya’s capital markets.
Regulatory guidelines require listed firms to publish annual audited results within four months of the financial year-end.
