Subaru lovers to get new cars on credit in new deal with Autochek Africa

Subaru Kenya and Autochek Africa have signed a deal that will see customers buy new and second-hand cars through loan facilities effective March 31, 2022.

“The collaboration will see an increase in their vehicle purchase since many Subaru lovers do not convert to customers due to stringent loan processes in the market from the existing lenders,” said Naftali Mwangi, Subaru Kenya’s General Manager.

Autochek Kenya, an automotive technology company, was launched in 2020 and seeks to expand its platform to the entire automobile ecosystem as a way of offering a one-stop solution for everything cars.

The company intends to achieve this by including insurance, tracking, and other aftersales partners.

“This move will give our customers a wider variety of cars as we will onboard brand-new cars on the platform as well as showroom cars that have been used locally,” said Bilhah Muriithi, Autochek Kenya’s Country Manager.

The collaboration will also see Subaru Kenya become a service partner for Autochek and it will provide services such as providing repairs, sell spare parts and offering inspections for the new cars.

In-depth training on Subaru vehicles from the Subaru training center for Autocheck’s sales personnel will also be included.
