Stocks trading on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) will remain shut for three days starting April 29, 2022.
This will stretch until May 3, 2022, the NSE said.
The closure is due to the five-day-long weekend which starts on April 29 that has been declared a public holiday to commemorate the death of former President Mwai Kibaki.
May 2, will also be a holiday by dint of Labour Day which falls on May 1, Sunday.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiangi also declared May 3, 2022, a public holiday to mark Idd-Ul-Fitr.
Trading will resume on May 4, 2022.
