
Stima Sacco has signed an integrated payment services deal with Pesalink to give its more than 200,000 members fast, affordable, real-time payment options.
The Sacco members will use Pesalink to send or receive up to Ksh.999,999 per transaction, via the MStima app or USSD.
Dr. Gamaliel Hassan, CEO of Stima Sacco said he is inclined to ensure all the members are included in its financial services.
Part of his broader mandate, he said, is to ensure convenience and dependable digital finance for every member, whether individuals, businesses, chamas, or staff.

Pesalink CEO Gituku Kirika said that the partnership combines Stima Sacco’s large membership base with Pesalink’s instant payment infrastructure to build Kenya’s first large-scale SACCO-to-bank real-time payments system.
The integration will boost operational efficiency, support SMEs’ cash flow, and speed up digital adoption in the cooperative sector.
The duo has set a new standard for SACCOs by enabling interoperability, instant payments via mobile, USSD, and banking channels.
