Safaricom PLC will report the first half of 2024 results on November 09, 2023.
It’s the first publicly listed company on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) to set a date for the announcement.
On year to date, Safaricom’s share price has plummeted by 45.6% to Ksh.13.80 as of the time of this publication from Ksh.25.45 on October 19, 2022.
Full-year 2023 Results:
Earnings Per share – EPS: Ksh.1.55 (down from Ksh.1.74 in FY 2022).
Revenue: Ksh.308.3 billion (up 4.2% from FY 2022).
Net income: Ksh.62.3 billion (down 11% from FY 2022).
Profit margin: 20% (down from 24% in FY 2022). The decrease in margin was driven by higher expenses.
