The Nairobi Securities Exchange CEO Geoffrey Odundo has fears that the bourse is currently experiencing a windstorm based on the performance of the equities markets.
Odundo says that the global economy is experiencing volatility in the equities market-expressing optimism that the Nairobi Securities Exchange is bound to recover from this cycle.
He made these remarks during this year’s NSE’s 2019 half year market review outlook briefing where the equities market had a turnover of Ksh92 billion in the month of July 2019.
