Msambweni Member of Parliament Ramadhani Suleiman Dori has passed on.
The ODM party legislature succumbed to cancer on Monday morning while receiving treatment at Agha Khan Hospital in Mombasa County.
His untimely death was confirmed by ODM Party in an official communication to the public.
“We are saddened by the death of our Member and MP for Msambweni Hon. Suleiman Dori early this morning. Cancer has once again robbed Kenya a dedicated leader who served his people selflessly. To the people of Msambweni, Kwale County & the Coast region, poleni sana.” Said ODM Pary.
ODM leader, and the AU special Convoy for Infrastructure Raila Odinga took to his social media account to condole with the bereaved family.
“My heartfelt condolences go out to the people of Msambweni and family of Ramadhani Suleiman Dori who has passed on this morning. May the Lord grant his family comfort at this difficult moment and may his soul Rest In Eternal Peace”. Reads his tweet.
Dori joins a growing list of prominent Kenyans who have died of the disease that has no cure, even as some are still receiving treatment for various strains of the disease.
