The former basketballer Michael Jordan will induct Kobe Bryant into the basketball Hall of Fame on May 15, 2021.
Jordan, a six-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls, was close friends with Bryant up until the LA Lakers legend’s death in a helicopter crash in January 2020.

Bryant died at the age of 41 alongside his daughter Gianna aged 13 and seven other passengers when their helicopter crashed in California.
