Kenya and Ethiopia have signed deals in seven areas in a strategic framework agreement.
The deals were signed during the 36th Ethiopia-Kenya Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Both countries agreed to resolve trade barriers, among them addressing tariff and non-tariff obstacles that hinder the expansion of trade between the two partners.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi witnessed Kenya sign deals in areas of Tourism, Wildlife, Culture and Blue Economy.
Other areas are petroleum, Correctional Services and Capacity Building in Public Service.
Mudavadi co-chaired the JMC with Ethiopia’s Foreign Minister Ambassador Taye Atske Selassie.
