President Uhuru Kenyatta and his visiting Sierra Leonean counterpart Julius Maada Bio on Monday, May 30, 2022, signed seven key bilateral agreements at State House, Nairobi.
They included the establishment of a Joint Commission for Cooperation, a Memorandum of Understanding on Political and Diplomatic Consultations and that on Trade and Investment.
The two leaders also signed a deal on Cooperation in the Field of Wildlife Tourism, Gender Equality and Women Empowerment as well as an MoU on Cooperation in the Field of Culture and Arts.
In addition, they agreed on Cooperation in the Field of Youth Affairs.
President Kenyatta was accompanied to the talks by Interior Cabinet Secretaries Dr Fred Matiang’i , Foreign Affairs CS Raychelle Omamo and Amina Mohamedfor Sports).
Others were ICT CS Joe Mucheru , Public Service CS Prof Margaret Kobia and the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and Enterprise Development counterpart Betty Maina.
