Jambojet has temporarily suspended operations from Nairobi to Mombasa, Kisumu Eldoret, Malindi and Diani starting noon, March 29, 2021, until further notice
This is after President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday last week announced the cessation of movement by road, rail or air in five counties namely Nairobi, Kiambu, Machakos, Kajiado and Nakuru.
“We regret to inform all our customers and business partners that all the flights for the subsequent period on these routes are cancelled with immediate effect.” Said the airline in a statement.
In a press statement, Jambojet advised all passengers’ schedules to travel from March 29 and beyond to hold onto their tickets and their flights will be rescheduled to a later date at no extra cost.
“The value of these tickets will remain valid for a period of 12 months from the 29 th March 2021, added the airline.
The airline, however, said it will continue with its daily direct flights between Mombasa, Kisumu and Eldoret.
