The Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) President, Dr. Gilda Odera, has been appointed as the new Vice Chairperson of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
Her appointment was confirmed by SRC Chairperson Sammy Chepkwony on Friday, January 31, in accordance with Article 250 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
“The Chairperson and Members of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) appointed Dr. Gilda Odera as the Vice Chairperson of SRC,” read part of the official notice.
“The Commission congratulates Dr. Odera on her appointment and wishes her success in her new role.”
A Trailblazing Career in Leadership and Policy
Before her appointment to SRC, Dr. Odera made history as the first female National President of FKE, a role she took on in May 2023 for a two-year term. She previously served as FKE’s Vice President and has built an impressive career in public policy, governance, business management, and leadership.
