Faulu Inks Irrigation Deal with Irri-Hub for Kenyan Farmers

Faulu Bank has inked a financing deal with Irri-Hub Ke Limited to empower smallholder farmers in Kenya.

The deal will provide farmers with access to affordable, efficient, and sustainable irrigation products.

What Faulu Will Put on Table

The partnership will provide smallholder farmers with access to the following targeted products:

  • Solar Pumps: Solar-powered irrigation pumps that enable farmers to efficiently utilize renewable energy for irrigation purposes, reducing reliance on costly fossil fuels.
  • Drip Kits: Precision irrigation systems that deliver water directly to the roots of crops, maximizing water efficiency and minimizing wastage.
  • Dam Liners: High-quality liners for constructing on-farm water storage reservoirs, ensuring water retention and minimizing seepage.
  • Solar Dryers: Solar-powered drying systems that enable farmers to preserve and add value to their produce, reducing post-harvest losses and increasing income opportunities.

Their solutions, which include rainwater harvesting technology, solar-powered irrigation systems, greenhouses, shade houses, screen houses, mulching technology, and agricultural nets, enable farmers to increase agricultural productivity, improve nutrition security, and boost incomes.
