Afghan’s interior ministry said for the time being, new passports will be issued with the title of “the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan,” TOLO news reported on Tuesday, citing the acting head of department Alim Gul Haqqani.
The Passport Department of the Ministry of Interior Affairs announced the resumption of its services to Afghans, with at least 25,000 passports ready to be issued, according to the report.
