African countries have received a financial boost as they gear up the fight against climate change.This includes a Ksh.9 billion financing deal which was announced Monday by the UK’s Minister for Development and Africa, Andrew Mitchell.
Mitchell revealed the Ksh.9 billion funding programme in Nairobi, Kenya when he attended the ongoing Africa Climate Summit which began Monday. The deal will go towards projects which support environmental conservation and assist people with the effects of climate change across Africa.
