Tanzania's Ramadhani Brothers Win America Got Talent, $250K Prize

The Ramadhani Brothers have etched their names in history as the first Tanzanians to clinch victory on America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League (AGT).

Comprising acrobats Fadhili Ramadhani and Ibrahim Jobu, they outshone nine other finalists to claim the coveted title.

Their awe-inspiring act, characterized by gravity-defying balance, captivated both judges and audiences.

In addition to securing the inaugural Fantasy League trophy, the Ramadhani Brothers pocketed a grand prize of $250,000 (equivalent to over TZS 650 million).

What They Intend to Do

They intend to purchase a car for themselves, acquire land to build their own homes, and invest in equipment for fellow Tanzanian acrobats.

“We aim to enhance our acrobatic training facility in Tanzania and procure additional equipment,” Ibrahim shared.

Recognizing the vibrant artistic community in Tanzania, Jobu stressed the need to support other talents.

“We have many artists in Tanzania, so we must invest in equipment to assist them.”

On a lighter note, Ramadhani quipped about upgrading their mode of transportation:

“We used to walk to our training spot—a healthy exercise, but the distance was quite far. This time, we might skip a few days and roll in with wheels.”

Ramdhani are looking forward to headlining a show in the entertainment capital, Las Vegas.

“Our ultimate goal is to be invited to one of the major productions in Vegas,” he declared.

“To see our names on those colossal billboards that’s the dream. One day, we’ll arrive in Las Vegas, point, and proudly say, ‘That’s us, the Ramadhani Brothers.’”

Although their hand and head-balancing feats first graced AGT during Season 18 in 2023, they finished fifth despite their heart-stopping performances.

AGT judge Heidi Klum drafted them into her Fantasy League team, and after an impressive qualifying round, AGT judge Howie Mandel couldn’t resist using his Golden Buzzer.
