Omar al-Bashir, the former Sudan President was on Saturday sentenced
to two years in detention after being found guilty over corruption charges.
A Sudanese court sentenced the former leader to two years in
a reform facility in what was seen as the first ruling against Bashir.
According to a
African Union has lifted the suspension on Sudan, three months after being suspended from membership in the bloc.
