President William Ruto has unveiled a new list of Cabinet Secretaries, reshuffling his administration following the recent Gen Z protests.
The restructured cabinet includes former governors and aims to address key sectors with experienced leadership. The list is now pending approval by Members of Parliament.

Kenyans Felt Aggravated
The proposed cabinet is set for parliamentary approval, marking a significant step in the administration’s efforts to steer the nation towards growth and stability.
The reshuffle follows the Gen Z protests, which highlighted various socio-economic grievances. The new appointments are seen as a strategic move to address these concerns and bring fresh perspectives to the government.
By the time of publishing this article, a section of Kenyans felt aggravated by the new appointment, some of whom accused former Prime Minister Raila Odinga of siding with the Government.
They argued that President Ruto has not addressed their needs, among them appointing technocrats in various ministries to propel the country’s development agenda.
