President Ruto defends move to nominate Jumwa, Kuria to his Cabinet

President William Ruto defended his move to nominate a new team of edible Kenyans who will serve in his Cabinet for the next five years.

According to the President, the need to end tribalism in the country informed his decision to nominate the Cabinet Secretaries, among them Musalia Mudavadi – the Prime Cabinet Secretary.

He watered down the notion among the public that a good number of the CSs come from one region, a perceived area which he garnered majority of votes in the just concluded General Election.

“I have heard a number of you saying that some of these CSs come from certain counties. These are not CS for a certain county, they will represent all Kenyans because my primary need is to fight tribalism,” said the President.
