Four people have been confirmed dead following a gruesome road accident at Maltauro area along Narok-Mai Mahiu highway on Sunday evening.
A Toyota Wish from Kisii collided with a 14-seater matau which was coming from Nairobi.
According to Narok East Police Commander Jared Marandu, the driver of the Toyota Wish was trying to avoid hitting an allegedly intoxicated pedestrian who was crossing the road and accidentally collided head-on with the Crested Galaxy matatu.
Eight people are nursing serious injuries at Narok Referral Hospital and the Nairegie Enkare Hospital.
