In terms of major currencies exchange against the Kenyan currency, the Shilling strengthened against the sterling pound by 0.09% to close at 182.79 units.
The shilling collapsed even further against the US Dollar when it weakened Tuesday by 0.11% to close at 145.15 (-17.65% year-to-date).
It also KES weakened against the Euro by 0.16% to close at 156.99 (-19.59% year-to-date).
Total equity turnover rose by 33.45% to close at USD 0.74 MN (KES 106.89 MN) compared to yesterday’s turnover of Ksh.80 million (USD 0.55 million).
NSE 20 rose by 0.39% to close at 1,526.85 and NASI eased by 0.09%Â to close at 99.08.
