The High Court in Nairobi has suspended the deployment of the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) to quell violence in various parts of the country.

Before the greenlight by MPs, National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichungwa had tabled a motion seeking to legally ratify the government’s decision to deploy KDF officers to tackle protesters.
