Coffee prices at Nairobi Coffee Exchange this week’s auction fell by nearly 4% with the average price of a 50Kg bag of coffee dropping to Ksh21,466.
The average price of the premium grade AA coffee also dropped by 3.5% to Ksh 32,371 per bag.
Despite the drop in the average price of coffee, the value of coffee sold at this week’s auction rose by 6.3% to Ksh536.8 million.
20,340 bags of coffee were on sale this week up from last week’s 18,382 bags of coffee.
