ATC Kenya Appoints George Odenyo its New CEO

American Tower Corporation Kenya (ATC Kenya) has appointed George Odenyo as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 1, 2024.

Odenyo joined the company in 2019 as part of the acquisition of Eaton Towers, where he served as the Finance Director.

Over the past five years, George has played a pivotal role in the company’s journey, serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at ATC Kenya.

Odenyo’s leadership and strategic guidance have been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and solidifying its financial position. ‘

According to ATC Kenya – George’s contributions have not only helped the company to thrive in the present but have also positioned it for future success.

“Through the vital role he has played in our company strategy, George has provided invaluable guidance that has not only propelled our company’s growth and cemented its financial standing but has enabled our company to position itself for the future, enabling us to play a more pivotal role in a more Sustainable Telecommunications System,” said ATC Kenya.

Odenyo brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of leadership to his new role as CEO.

His expertise and insights have been invaluable in shaping the company’s strategy and steering it towards its goals.

Odenyo’s academic credentials are equally impressive. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

He holds an MBA from the esteemed Strathmore University Business School and has also completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) from the prestigious Harvard Business School.

As ATC Kenya embarks on this new chapter under Odenyo’s leadership, the company looks forward to continuing its growth trajectory and further strengthening its position in the telecommunications industry.
