Multichoice Kenya has succumbed to growing competition in the pay TV space to slash its pay TV subscription fees on its DSTV packages by 37% beginning this month.
Coinciding with that announcement, DSTV has also launched a 36 hour viewing marathon competition dubbed the “dstv public television binge watching” in search of the ultimate television binge watcher.
A glass house has been set up within Nairobi’s central business district complete with living room furnishings and a television set.
The contestants will be allowed supervised breaks in between the experience, which ends on Thursday at 6am.Out of the 8 contestants, the person or persons who will be still awake and watching at the 36th hour will take home a cash prize as well as an year’s subscription to DSTV’S premium bouquet
