TSC advertises vacancies for over 400 teachers; how to apply

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced 488 vacancies for teachers and teaching interns across the country some of which are permanent and pensionable.

The Commission is looking to recruit 328 interns in Junior Secondary Schools, 16 interns in Public Secondary Schools, 56 (permanent and pensionable) teachers in post-primary institutions, and 88 teachers (contractual) in Garissa, Wajir, and Mandera.

Qualified interns will work for a year and those attached to secondary schools will get a monthly stipend of Ksh20,000.

How to Apply

Applicants will have to visit the Commission’s website tsc.go.ke and head to the ‘Careers’ section or click on teachersonline.tsc.go.ke for further details.

You can register and apply for your CRB clearance certificate by dialling *433# or download our crystobol app from Google playstore then follow the prompt and complete the request.

Timelines for the recruitment of teachers will begin on May 25, 2023, and run till June 26, 2023.

Promotion of existing tutors will start from May 25, 2023, to July 28, 2023.

All interested candidates are to send their applications before Friday, June 2, 2023.
