Standard Group tops gainers on NSE to trade Ksh.15.5 per share

Standard Group closed the day to emerge top gainer on Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) when its stocks surged  9.93 percent to trade Ksh.15.5 per share.

It was followed by Car and General Limited which moved its stocks 7.41 percent at Ksh.58 per share. Eaagads Limited was third-placed on the bourse when it traded Ksh.13.8 per share followed by Expressway Kenya Limited at Ksh.3.6 per share.

Crown Paints Kenya closed the day among top five gainers when its stocks surged 5.53 percent to trade Ksh.32.45 per share.

Nairobi Business Venture shed 9.18 percent on Friday’s stocks when it closed as top loser on the bourse, trading Ksh.4.65 per share.

It was followed by Sasini plc which shed 5.18 stocks to trade Ksh.21.05 per share.

Sameer Africa traded Ksh.2.61 per share after shedding 5.09 percent stocks followed by Uchumi Supermarket which shed 4.35 percent stocks to trade Ksh.0.22 per share.

TPS Eastern Africa limited ended the day as top loser when it traded Ksh.14.55 per share.

Safaricom was the day’s biggest mover trading over two million shares worth over Ksh.76 million. It was followed by Nairobi Business Ventures which moved slightly over one million shares worth over Ksh.21 million.
