
Naivas Supermarket has been plunged into mourning following the death of the retail firm’s chairman, Simon Mukuha.
The supermarket’s Chief Operations Officer, Willy Kimani, confirmed the death of Mr. Mukuha on the evening of Monday, August 26, at Aga Khan Hospital.
According to Capital FM citing family sources, Mukuha suffered a stroke on Friday, August 23, before losing the battle at the hospital.
In a tribute message doing rounds online and said to be from Naivas, arrangements for his send-off are already underway. Until his death, Mukuha was among the four founders and directors of the supermarket chain.
