Nancy Matimu has been named the new Managing Director for MultiChoice Kenya.
Matimu will be taking over from Eric Odipo effective December, who left the firm to pursue other interests.
According to MultiChoice Africa Northern Region Director, Maharage Chande, the appointment comes at a critical time for the video entertainment business.
“This new appointment will play a major role in delivering the experience our customers deserve”. Said Chande.
Matimu becomes the first female Managing Director to head MultiChoice Kenya since its inception.
Prior to joining MultiChoice Kenya, Nancy was the Vice-President, Head Market Development Sub Saharan Africa at MasterCard.
Other capacities she’s managed including; Chief Digital & Marketing Officer at HFC Bank, General Manager Marketing & Head of Products & Innovation Revenue Management- Airtel Africa.
She holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Strathmore University, a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Kenyatta University and a Post Graduate Diploma (CIM) in Marketing.
