The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has increased the price of super petrol by Ksh.3.56 shillings per liter while maintaining the price of Diesel and Kerosene in the latest fuel price review.
Motorists in Mombasa will be charged Ksh.123.95 per liter of super petrol, Ksh.105.27 for Diesel, and Ksh.95.46 for kerosene. Those in Nairobi will pay Ksh.126.37 for Super Petrol, Ksh.107.66 for Diesel, and Ksh.97.85 for kerosene.
Nakuru residents will pay Ksh.125.98 per liter of super petrol, Ksh.107.55 for diesel, and Ksh.97.76 for diesel. Those in Eldoret will pay Ksh.126.90 for super petrol, Ksh108.46 shillings for diesel, and Ksh.98.68 for kerosene.
Kisumu residents will pay Ksh.126.90 for super petrol, Ksh.108.46 for diesel, and Ksh.98.68 shillings for kerosene.
According to EPRA, the average landed cost of Super Petrol decreased by 0.57 percent from $491.50 per cubic meter in March 2021 to $488.69 per cubic meter in April 2021.
The cost of Diesel dropped by 1.03 percent from 444.17 dollars per cubic meter to 439.60 dollars per cubic meter. That of Kerosene dropped by 2.01 percent from $421.90 per cubic meter to $430.40 per cubic meter.
