Mohamed Salah, an Egyptian footballer who is widely recognized as one of the top players of his generation and a leading figure in African football, is on the verge of exceeding $120 million in career earnings by the conclusion of the 2023-2024 English Premier League (EPL) season.
According to Billionaires Africa – the Liverpool Football Club striker and captain of the Egyptian national team is projected to boost his career earnings to £97.64 million ($124.2 million) by the end of the ongoing EPL season.
This sum includes an impressive salary of £18.2 million ($23.15 million) that Salah is expected to earn this season, reflecting his extraordinary skills.
In addition to his outstanding achievements on the pitch, Salah has strengthened his financial position through profitable endorsement contracts with major companies, including Adidas.
The famous sportswear brand acknowledged Salah’s capacity to bring people together through sports in its “Impossible Is Nothing” campaign, and even projected his image onto the famous Burj Khalifa in 2021.
In 2023, Salah’s financial accomplishments reached new heights when he secured the 28th position on Forbes’ list of the world’s highest-earning athletes.
Salah’s total income for the year was an impressive $53 million, with $35 million derived from his on-field activities and a remarkable $18 million from off-field ventures.
These ventures include sponsorship contracts, appearance fees, memorabilia, licensing income, and returns from businesses in which he has a significant stake.
