Metropol Credit Reference Bureau’s (CRB) mobile app, Crystobol, won the Gold award for Best Credit Score Monitoring App at the Mobile Apps Award 2023.

The Crystobol App was awarded through a public voting process, with Metropol CRB Chief Executive Officer Gideon Kipyakwai expressing gratitude to Kenyans for their support.
Crystobol is an app designed to alleviate the inconvenience of Kenyans accessing their CRB services, eliminating the need to physically visit a physical location.
Kipyakwai stated that Crystobol customers’ data is validated to minimize human interaction, ensuring its security and integrity.
Kipyakwai expressed gratitude to the voting participants and pledged Metropol’s continued commitment to providing excellent services, while also encouraging Kenyans to use the Crystobol App.
Metropol CRB’s services, currently available in Kenya and Uganda, can be accessed using the USSD code *443#.
Also present during the award ceremony were Metropol’s Head of Corporate Affairs Catherine Magua and Head of Customer Service Ruth Omukoko.
