Here are Martha Koome’s academic and professional qualifications — MPs to hold special sitting to debate CJ Nominee Martha Koome Report

President Uhuru Kenyatta has forwards the name of Lady Justice Martha Koome to the National Assembly to be vetted for appointment as Kenya’s next Chief Justice.

She was recommended by the Judicial Service Commission interim chair Professor Olive Mugenda for the CJ post on Tuesday.

This was after a successful interview process that ended last Friday which saw ten candidates interviewed for the post.
