Rihanna is expected to launch a number of her skincare products in Kenya this May, but only the wealthy can afford a number of the products.
The musician-turned billionaire known by her official name, Roby Rihanna Fenty, will launch her Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin cosmetics products on May 27, 2022. She co-owns the brand with the French luxury goods group LVMH.
Rihanna’s beauty company is known for its broad range of 50 skin tones, including dark shades products, which were rare when it launched in 2017.
Both Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin have developed a wide range of products retailing for as high as Ksh20,000 per piece.
To purchase Fenty scent christened Fenty Eau de Parfum, Kenyans will have to spend Ksh.20,300 while Fenty Skin pack full-size bundle will retail at Ksh.11,600 per product.
The cost of Cookies and Clean Whipped Clay Detox Face Mask with Salicylic Acid and Charcoal will retail at Ksh.4,650 while the Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream with Tropical Oils and Shea Butter will go for Ksh.6,100.
For the bold lip, the available shades of Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick will be priced at Ksh.1,050 from Ksh.2,650 while the Fairy Bomb Shimmer Powder will retail at Ksh.2,900, a discount from Ksh.4,100.
Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen retails at Ksh.5,550 while the popular Body Lava Body Luminizer is being offered at a discounted price of Ksh.5,950 from Ksh.8,550.
Other products include a Total Cleanser Makeup-Removing Cleanser with Barbados Cherry that goes for Ksh.3,800 as well as Fat Water Niacinamide Pore-Refining Toner Serum with Barbados Cherry at Ksh.4,350.
Besides Kenya, the billionaire will also launch similar products on the same day in other seven African countries including South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Rihanna, aged 34, is a Barbados-born, island country in the southeastern Caribbean Sea.
