Kenya Breweries Limited has launched a new product in market, Gilbey’s Mixed Berries under Gilbey’s Gin Trademark made from berries flavours.
The introduction of Gilbey’s Mixed Berries Flavour is in line with KBL’s business objective to revitalize the Gilbey’s Gin Trademark.
“Gilbey’s mixed berries is simply our response to the consumers’ changing tastes and preferences. We have acknowledged their search for a drink that offers both style and substance, and a refreshing taste to boot. We are confident that our consumers will love it,” said the innovations brand manager Victoria Mbugua.
The move is in line with a vision which KBL carries to double its gin market share by 2023.
“We have made considerable investments from the product research and development stage to Go-to-Market, because we are confident that this innovation will truly deliver for the business bottom line,” said Mbugua.
KBL sais it is keen to listen to needs of the marketplace through their dealers and is keen to training distributors on their innovative product lines.
Gilbey’s Mixed Berries is listed in all major distributor outlets in the country and will be available in selected on-trade and off-trade channels with the aim to have national coverage before end of the year.
“We appreciate the unwavering role distributors have and continue to play in providing our customers with brand experiences that lead to happiness and wellness. These are long-term investments for us,” she added.
The new product is currently retailing at Ksh 1250 for a 750 ml Ksh.630 and 430 for 350 ml and 250ml bottles respectively.
