The British Oxygen Company (BOC) Kenya Plc has appointed Joseph Ramashal as a non-executive Director of the Board following resignation of Marius Kruger.
Kruger tendered his resignation on September 13, 2021 before being replaced by Mr. Ramashala.

Ramashala currently holds the position of Director Region Emerging Africa, African Oxygen Limited (AFROX), a company within Linde Group.
Before joining AFROX in 2008, he held several roles including National Accounts Manager CO2, Business Manager Healthcare and Head of Healthcare.
He has also held a number of managerial positions at Tiger Brands, South Africa Breweries and BAT.

With his regional responsibility for general management, profitability and new business development across a number of countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Ramashala holds a degree in Law from the University of Durban-Westville.
He also holds a degree in Business Management from the University of South Africa.
BOC Kenya PLC has lauded the former Non-Executive Director Marius Kruger for the role he played while serving at the company.
The company is a leading supplier of industrial, medical and special gases in East Africa.
In its recent released financial reports in April this year, BOC Kenya reported an 81.9 percent jump in profit for 2020.
