The accused committed the offence on July 25 at Kathonzweni market where he damaged the front windscreen of a grey Toyota Spacio belonging to his uncle Martin Muema.
On a fateful night, Mutuku went for a tipple in Kathonzweni after receiving Ksh.200 from his uncle who he works.
Later, the accused went back to his uncle and demanded for another Sh 200, but he was told that he had already received the payment, after which he got angry and destroyed the windscreen of the vehicle.
According to prosecutor Sammy Muriuki, the accused is a repeat offender and he is in a habit of getting drunk and destroying property.
In his defense the accused said he committed the offence because he was under the influence of alcohol.
“This five months in prison will help you figure out what you want with your life,” declared Mwaniki while making his judgement.
