Estates in Nairobi to go without water due to ongoing Expressway construction

The Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company has announced a shutdown of water supply along Mombasa road starting September 30, 2021 at 6:00 am to October 1, 2021 at 6:00 am.

The shutdown will allow the interconnection of the relocated pipeline to the old pipeline from the Bunyala Road and Uhuru Highway junction to the Lusaka and Lang’ata Road junction.

The exercise will affect, the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Standard Gauge Railway, Athi River export processing zone.

Other areas which will be affected include the areas of Coca Cola, Mukuru, Imara Iaima, Industries along the North Airport Road, Embakasi village and Tassia Estate.

The water shortage will stretch to GSU and AP training schools and the Inland Container Depot, estates along Jogoo Road and the whole of Industrial area.
