Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi says he is the best fit to fix Kenya’s ailing economy seen through the ever-rising cost of living.
According to Mudavadi who has declared his presidential ambitions in the forthcoming general elections, his administration will turn Kenya from a consumption to a production economy that will create jobs for its people.
The ANC boss says he will stamp out corruption, tame extravagant government expenditure and arrest the ballooning debt, all of which are making life unbearable for millions of Kenyans.
“I am asking for your vote so that we lower taxes by taming government expenditure, seal corruption loopholes and put trustworthy [people in government so that we don’t lose revenue to the corrupt,” said Mudavadi.
Speaking in Nakuru, before concluding his two-day tour of the county, Mudavadi asked the Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), to ensure elections are held next year as stipulated by the constitution.

Calling on the Church in the country to speak the truth and lead Kenyans in making the right choice in next year’s general election, Mudavadi asked the Church to remain non-partisan in political engagements in the country.
“The Church should speak the truth and point out where things are going wrong. By so doing, it will help in leading Kenyans to the right path,” said Mudavadi.
He called on Nakuru and the Rift Valley residents to ensure peace prevailed as the country heads to next year’s general election.
He also challenged the government to solve all land issues that have been the root cause of chaos during the electioneering period.
Mudavadi said the country’s economy needs to be fixed and his administration will ensure the country is turned from consumption to a production economy that will create jobs for its people should he be elected president.
