Edgar Obare charged with disclosing personal data
Edgar Obara was on Monday arraigned at Kiambu Law Courts and charged with disclosing personal data.
The controversial social media influencer was arrested on Friday last week following complainants from Natalie Wanjiru, alias Natalie Tewa.
Obare took it to his Instagram stories with a ray of posts alleging that Tewa, a Kenyan YouTuber, was part of the entourage that visited Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga in Dubai.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Obare was arrested on Friday in Kisumu before he was taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters for questioning.
Others in the entourage included MP Junet Mohamed and Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho who travelled aboard a chartered private Jet.
He has been the gust of state at the Gigiri Police Station.
