Moses Kuria arrested for punching a woman

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has been arrested for allegedly punching and kicking a woman.

This follows an uproar by Kenyans after a video went viral on social media where a middle-aged woman claimed she was kicked by Kuria.

Looks like the economy is going to shoot a bit high this year despite a hard cry by local companies over cash crunch, and complaint by Kenyans for ballooning unemployment and massive job lay-offs. ”Nilichapwa na Moses Kuria tarehe nane mwezi wa December tukiwa kwa jumba la Royal Media Services. Nilikuwa nimeitwa show ya Kiririmbi kudiscuss mambo ya BBI,” Joyce Wanja said in a video that went viral on social media.

Wanja claimed that the MP assaulted her when faulted his coments during a children fundraiser in Kiambu County.

”Aliongea maneno ambayo haikuwa inaambatana na event. Tena aliongea ile haifai kuongelewa mbele ya watoto,” she added.

The MP is currently being held at the Kilimani Police Station.
