Digify Africa in partnership with Facebook has churned out the first cohort of graduates from the award-winning digital marketing boot camp, Digify pro in Nairobi, Kenya.
The program offers trainees the opportunities to learn about digital marketing, from paid advertising, analytics to strategy, user experience, mobile marketing/gamification, social media marketing, community management, brand online and reputation management.
The students who were on an 8-week training were equipped with skills needed in the digital space like digital marketing analytics and measurement, content marketing, email marketing, and digital strategy development among others.
Speaking at the graduation, Digify CEO and Founder, Gavin Deale said that the program is now looking at various partnerships with government and other non-governmental organizations following the key role it has played in helping transform the lives of young refugees after working closely with UNHCR.
Since its launch in 2015, Digify Pro has kick-started over 250 careers in digital spaces in South Africa and Nigeria. The next cohort in Nairobi is scheduled to kick off in early 2020. Interested youth can find out all the details on how to be a part of this program from the Digify Africa website and their social media pages.
Once the program is completed, participants are assisted with a work placement in leading agencies, helping them elevate their lives.
